Homelite Consumer Products, Inc. warrants its outdoor tools and equipment with the following conditions:
What This Warranty Covers
This warranty covers all defects in workmanship or materials in your Homelite outdoor tools and equipment for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
How To Get Service
Just return the outdoor tool or equipment, properly packaged and postage prepaid to a Homelite Authorized Service Center. You can obtain the location of the Service Center nearest to you by contacting a customer service representative at (800)525-2579 or on-line through our Service Center locater at www.Homelitetools.com. When you request warranty service, you must also present proof of purchase documentation (sales receipt/bill of sale). We will repair any faulty workmanship, and either repair or replace any defective part at our option. Work will be performed without charge to your. We will complete the work in a reasonable time, but in any case, within ninety days.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser at retail and may not be transferred. This warranty only covers defects arising under normal usage and does not cover any malfunctions, failure, or defects resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, modification or repairs by other than Homelite Authorized Service Centers. Homelite makes not warranties, representations or promises as to the quality or performance of its outdoor tools and equipment other than those specifically stated in this warranty.
Additional Limitations
Any implied warranty granted under state law, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to one year from the date of purchase. Homelite is not responsible for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts and/or do not allow the exclusion of limitation of incidental damages, so the above limitations are exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

I've
cut wood & logs for years with regular chain saw. I've used an electric two summers for limb trimming, and liked it. This particular saw, however was sent to my son at Greely Co.to trim trees and limbs from a big snow storm last month, Likesit swell.The thing I didn't like about your company however, the web page wouldn't let me make a separate shipping point, so had to ship it here, then exstra shipping to get it to Co.

I'm impressed by the self-oiling feature. This was not on the prior saw I used. The 9 amps seems powerful enough; I trimmed a 10" cedar with no problem. An excellent value for the money.

I bought this chainsaw for light work around the house 4x4 landscape timber, limbs & branches, etc... I have experience with gas saws, but never used an electric before and was sure the performance would be marginal. To my suprise, this little electric chain saw was easy to use & not lacking in power. When the need for a thick cut withing a 100ft powercord length of my house, this will be my first choice.

the chain will stay on if you know how to use this tool. have cut a cord of firewood with no problems. pay attention to the oil, and don't let it bind while cutting.

Never used an electric chain saw before. I have a gas homelite and I did not winterize it...so I had to have it serviced to get it going...This one is plug (in) and play. Let's see how long it lasts...
